It would be a dream come true

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2011/02/pujols-talks-not-going-well.html

If Pujols does hit the open market after the 2011 season, Rosenthal writes that the Cubs, Rangers, and Angels are among the teams that could pursue Pujols.

The snippet also mentions that the Red Sox and Yankees probably wouldn't pursue him because they're already set at 1st base. Dare I think Pujols could sign with the Cubs? The reality of the situation though is that the Cardinals *have* to resign him... he's the best player in baseball and more or less the face of the franchise. I wonder what he's asking for that's higher than $275mil/10yrs.

Super Bowl XLV

I'm a big Steelers fan so I'm pretty excited about Sunday. I've been pretty lucky as a sports fan to be rooting for teams that have been somewhat successful over the years. I've been a Kentucky Basketball fan since I was a kid so I got to experience (in my opinion) the greatest college basketball team ever assembled (the 1995-1996 team.) I've also been able to witness the Steelers win a couple titles so there's that. However, I'd trade all of those just to see the Cubs win the World Series.

Sunday's game seems like it's going to be interesting. I hope the Steelers can pull it off, but I'm worried about Pouncey being out. Guess we'll see what happens.
